Shocking Statistics
I have some shocking statistics to share with you.
Most likely, if you’re reading this, you don’t fall into this category.
BUT…
Because the statistical information I am about to deliver is so powerful you will quickly realize why most people are unsuccessful or at least only marginally successful.
Warning: These Numbers Will Shock You!
- The average American spends nearly 4 hours per day watching TV
- That is 28 hours per week
- That’s over one whole day per week wasted on Television.
- Almost 50 days per year.
- By the age of 65, he or she will have spent nine years watching TV.6
This my friends is a travesty and this one of the reasons why most people have a tough time managing themselves, their time, their families and their businesses, lives and their success.
Did you know that 95% of the popular in this country doesn’t have a library card?
But yet 50 million consumers visit their local video store every week. 32
It is my feeling that the reason why most people don’t have and use the public library and don’t value the services they provide us for free (tax dollars) is because we perceive it as costing us nothing and as a culture we place little value on things that are totally free to everyone.
This also has implications on your marketing that I will not get into here – more on that later.
If we only spent a fraction of the time we waste on intelligent thought and action toward our goals (you actually have to make some and write them down first) we’d be so far ahead it would be scary.
So What Does This Mean To You?
If you spend just one hour everyday reading this blog, reviewing our material and putting it to work in your business, you will literally be an expert on marketing in your industry in no time.
If you want to be an expert in any topic all you have to do is read and put in a little bit of effort.
It’s amazing how simple it is – yet no one does it.
All the information has been written and is available for the taking.
And it’s free at the library or for pay on amazon.com
Congratulations on being a star seeker...
– Now turn off the TV and go read something.
