A Hole In None – The Blog Post That Wrote Itself
Remember the story we told you last month about the most beautiful glass of iced tea?
Now hear this...yesterday we met a new client for lunch at Sam Snead's Tavern in Downtown Orlando. Home of the OUTRAGEOUS iced tea.
Needless to say, ol' Jimbo ordered up a glass of the famous brew.
To our disgust and disappointment, out came an ordinary - common - glass of plain old tea. No mint leaves, no lemon, no black straw. Nothing special. Just ordinary.
Man what a let down.
The point? Of course...how good is great if it's only occasional? Scendsational by accident doesn't really count.
Success is a plan. Sure, you may stray off course every now and then. And maybe that's what happened here.
Also - no wonder McDonalds has such a strangle hold on the market. Every thing you order is always the same.
I believe Mr. Sneads could benefit from some of Ray's advice. The system didn't work.
To put it in golf terms for the Sneads folks - if you birdie on hole 8 and bogey on hole 9, you're just par - average. And that's what has happened here. Back to average.
Don't let it happen to your business.
